Layrd Life: November 2024

While Ipswich Town maintains their impressive form on the pitch, we've been busy elevating the off-pitch experience. We've recently been featured in the November issue of FC Business Magazine.

The Reception

The heart of any venue is its welcome space, and our six-week transformation of ITFC's main reception area showcases this perfectly. We've created a bright, open environment where modern design meets functionality. The space now features custom timber wall panels that echo the stadium's architecture, complemented by copper highlights and carefully selected planting. With five distinct lighting modes, the reception adapts seamlessly from daytime business to matchday atmosphere.

The Hospitality Entrance

First impressions count, which is why we transformed the club’s hospitality welcome experience into a premium arrival point. Our bespoke shipping container solution combines industrial character with sophisticated design, featuring natural daylight from a custom roof light and a thoughtfully planned, DDA-compliant one-way system for smooth matchday flow. This purpose-built welcome space provides the perfect first touchpoint for corporate and hospitality guests.

The Executive Boxes

We've reimagined the West Stand Executive Boxes as atmospheric, premium environments. The previously bland spaces have been transformed into dark, welcoming environments that reflect the club's current standing. Each box features bespoke elements, including custom media units, while adaptable lighting creates the perfect ambience for any time of day.

Coming Soon… The Pavilion Lounge

We recently completed the design of the Pavilion Lounge at Sheffield United, a premium hospitality space in the heart of Bramall Lane. This large-scale transformation focused on creating an environment that elevates the matchday experience for the guests who gather at the South Stand for a three-course meal on match days. We're looking forward to sharing the full story of how this space has evolved to meet the evolving demands of modern football hospitality.

On-site at Everybody Health & Leisure

The transformation is underway at Everybody Health & Leisure's Macclesfield site. With the existing gym now stripped back to basics, we're at the exciting stage of bringing vision to life. The upcoming weeks will see the space evolve through carefully planned decoration, with lighting schemes, strategic floor zoning, and brand elements that connect with both the club's identity and its local community.

National Fitness Awards

East Grinstead Sports Club took home the prestigious South Gym of the Year award at the 2024 National Fitness Awards for its outstanding commitment to community engagement and service excellence. This achievement highlights how thoughtful design can enhance the user experience and support a facility's mission to deliver exceptional fitness experiences.

We're also proud to see Instagym named as a finalist in the Newcomer of the Year category. Being shortlisted among the country's most promising new fitness facilities reflects the innovative approach taken in creating this dynamic new space.
